Preserved Floral Centrepiece

A Joyous, Summery Preserved Flower Centrepiece. Inspired by Beyoncé’s Vogue Shoot.

Part of being a creative floral designer is to explore ideas outside of your usual scope. This preserved floral centrepiece was just that for me.

One of two pieces created to coincide with Chelsea in Bloom’s 2025 theme “Flowers in Fashion”. This everlasting flower arrangement was inspired by an Indian-Summer themed Vogue cover shoot. Featuring Beyoncé wearing a headpiece of dahlias, achilleas, and carnations in beautiful summer shades.

Unfortunately preserved dahlias aren’t available, so I substituted these for large dusky pink hydrangeas. With some exquisite preserved anthuriums adding structure and focal points to draw the eye to the top of the centrepiece.
