Dried and preserved flowers offer the best of both worlds, an abundance of floral beauty, combined with much-needed longevity in a commercial setting, with arrangements lasting for a year or more!

Installation is included for both the Signature and Advanced options. Installation isn’t included in the Basic option, but UK delivery is. However designs included in the Basic option have been created with ease in mind, and should be simple enough to DIY.

You will find a couple of alternatives to dried and preserved flowers if you’re looking to add a floral arrangement to your decor.

• Fresh flowers - perfect for making a statement short term, fresh cut flowers provide both colour and scent. They work out better value for day events or celebrations, however if you were to use them continually, the cost would soon add up compared to using dried and preserved florals. They’re also not a sustainable choice for decorating with flowers due to the energy consumption in storing and transportation.

• “Faux” flowers - i.e fake, plastic flowers. Probably the closest alternative to dried and preserved flowers from a longevity point of view. Quality is always questionable, however some silk florals are now quite realistic. Aside from that, they are extremely bad in terms of sustainability. Yes they last for a long time, but they are plastic - which means lots of toxins and energy used in the manufacturing process, and when they inevitably end up in land fill, that’s where they’re staying!

• House plants - if you’re green fingered and have the time and schedule to care for them, using real plants in your decor is another viable option. Used creatively in hanging displays or wall fixtures, they can give a real urban-jungle vibe. Ensure that suitable plants are used for the different conditions in your space, and be prepared to keep a space free in your weekly diary for care! I purposefully use as many UK-grown, natural flowers as possible, sourcing these from a flower farm in Nottinghamshire and a small business in Devon. As well as any local growers I can find and support in my area.

Unique and unusual feature florals come from collections native to Australia, South Africa, and Europe.

All work is undertaken on receipt of a 50% deposit payment which is non-refundable (due to time spent and materials sourced for your project).
