Installations for Güs Wellness, Sheffield

Created for Güs, a design-led sauna and coffee space in Sheffield.

These installations explore the relationship between architecture and interior through natural materials, texture, and light.

The work was designed to sit quietly within the ritual of the space, supporting calm and tranquillity, rather than drawing attention.

“Getting botanicals into the interior at Güs meant considering the space, environment and feeling that Rob & Chris were looking to create. Launching their new business meant time is at a premium for them, so caring for plants (along with the possibility of bugs) wasn’t an option.

Modern dried florals with a neutral palette complemented the Scandi aesthetic they were looking for, without the maintenance and upkeep. Carefully choosing natural grasses, combined with seed heads and robust dried flowers, minimises any moisture taking hold. While the tones and textures provide a softening backdrop and grounding points for the guest experience.”
