Setting the Scene
Sage Hair Studio has always been a space where nature and creativity coexist. Wanting to bring even more natural elements into the salon, Beth opted for a dried flower installation to enhance the atmosphere.
Before the installation, the salon was a calm and welcoming haven. Adorned with jungle plants, curated 70s Bohemian trinkets, colourful accents, and personal touches. When considering the installation, Beth had no hesitations.
We'd discussed the idea of something whimsical and fun, while retaining a structural element. Pink was a must (Beth and Sage's signature colour!), as well as shades of green to tie in with the array of houseplants.

The Experience Working with Anther Studio
From the consultation to the final design, the process was seamless. With a variety of ideas in the mood board reflecting those initial discussions, Beth found it easy to visualise the perfect installation for the salon.

When Jess visited the salon, she could tell me immediately what the colours and brand aesthetic was. She really captured the essence of Sage hair studio!”

The finished installation exceeded expectations. Clients have responded too! Enjoying the calming, immersive experience while having their hair washed. The installation reinforces the salon’s welcoming aesthetic. Instantly communicating the brand’s colours and character.

“The easy maintenance definitely appeals to me! I am no stranger to watering plants, however it is nice to have something in the space that doesn’t need constant taking care of!
Fresh flowers are beautiful and I always love to have them in the space, but there is something so great about having something that will change over time without needing a lot of maintenance.”
Reflections & Recommendations
Beth’s favourite elements of the installation are the smoke bush and trailing stems, which add a magical, whimsical touch.
The project successfully blends brand identity, design, and functionality. Making it a meaningful addition to Sage Hair Studio.
